Every student knows what I mean. Every student knows that feeling. Every student experiences that quaint stomach ache just before the exam...a feeling of churned up, undigested rotten eggs mixed with the slimy stomach juices and everything you ate the previous night(ya....sounds grose...but its true)!!!!
The moment the paper lands on the desk, each student pounces on it...trying to finish scanning it as soon as possible. And then, the longest wait ever. Those eternal 5 minutes which never seem to end. The wait for the answer sheets! It finally arrives and the race begins. It is perhaps the only time in school when the class is quiet...or is it??? Faint murmurs can be heard everywhere. Every corner! Every seat! Students think of new and ingenious ploys to extract answers from their fellow(and usually more intelligent) students! Its hilarious to see some of them en train cheating!
There is also that incredible situation each student faces during exams. The time when the brain doesn't respond...when there is no answer to the question! Time suddenly seems to quicken, everyone around suddenly seems to be writing furiously without pausing for a moment's breath. A decision is made at that time by everyone -- keep thinking or move on!
As most students will tell us...exams are not just about mugging and writing answers. They truly are an experience!!
